I'm a yarnaholic...it's true! ...And,I need your input on expanding the TD range :-)

Hello folks! I hope you are all well. I was a bit under the weather earlier last week so didn't do as much as I would have liked to. I took some time off yesterday after shipping out all my orders. I would have normally picked up some yarn and started another project. But, I didn't do that. I did something else instead! I went over to one of my local yarn shops in the city centre and they had a whole lot of new stuff in stock! I was like a child in a toy shop! So, after spending HOURS in the shop, looking at all the yarns and discussing how to make Singapore Rice Noodles (which I love and ended up making for my dinner last night) with Kerry the shop assistant ,who I have struck a really good friendship with), I came home with bags..and bags..and more bags of lovely yarn! I got some organic cottons, cashmerinos, merinos, apalca, mohair blends, and a yarn I have not used before..a blend of silk, cashmere and merino. It feels incredible. I am holding a ball right now and I am in heaven! I am thinking of knitting a shrug with it. I bought enough to make one shrug...so I will have to choose between selling it and keeping it for myself. Uh-oh! I hate that part! :-) I got an organic cotton in one of my favourite colours, the colour oatmeal, which I am truly in love with! As soon as I saw it, I thought I would make a hooded newborn cardigan with toggle buttons, with a matching waistcoat and booties. It feels so silky and I can just imagine a sweet little bundle of joy wrapped up in that soft silkiness. I also picked up some beautiful yarn to knit an outfit for one of my customers who gave me the wonderful news she is expecting in December. I already made a pair of baby Snuggs for her, so this will complete the set. Ohhh... I am going to enjoy making this! :-)

And now onto the second part of the title of this blog post..Yes, I am in the process of designing new products and patterns for the Tafferty Designs range, which I am excited about. As much as I like my old designs, I am always looking for new ideas and making things customers would like to see is always the best way forward. so, what sort of things would you like to see in the range? Your input will be most appreciated! :-)
